Join us for the Cruise through History Online Book Club

April 3, 2020

For all those maintaining their physical social distance, waiting inside to break the chain of COVID-19, this is the time to launch on the Cruise through History Book Club. While we sit in place on land, we can still go where authors of great fiction take us, around the globe. Listed below are:

• First book for a CTH self-opt-in book club, and

• Logistical information for participating.

All are welcome. Involve your friends.  Share this blog with them and ask them to click on the link below to join the group or invite them directly from the Facebook group.

The first book is Apothecary Melchior and the Mystery of St. Olaf’s Church by Estonian author Indrek Hargla, available in English translation on Amazon, in print or e-book. Whether or not you have been to Tallinn, site of the murder mystery, you will enjoy this light, short novel.

Dr. Sherry will lead book club discussion, filling in Baltic Sea history, characters of the fourteenth century and just fun bits to enjoy a good story well told.

Join the Facebook Group and keep watch as we start posting items leading up to the start of the discussion on the book on April 20th.

Stay tuned for more details!!

If you have any issues or problem, please contact Heather at gopher@cruisethroughhistory.com and she will be glad to assist you.
