At Sea with Cruise through History in 2017

August 3, 2016

The 2016 cruise year is only half complete and already Cruise through History stories are booked on some of your favorite cruise lines through 2017.  This year CTH has highlighted ports of the Baltic and North Seas, before returning to the Mediterranean, and then on to cruise legs around South America.  There so many new stories to come in CTH Itinerary XI Ports of the Baltic Sea, Itinerary XII Ports of the North Sea, and Itinerary IX Ports of South America, coming out late in 2017.  It has been fun sharing the stories on ships and meeting so many enthusiastic cruise travelers.  The fun continues in 2017 with more new ports and new stories to tell.

Guests often ask what is next and which cruises are booked for next year.  Cruise lines are launching new ships in 2017, to add to the exciting launches in 2016, and there are many destination speakers preparing for upcoming cruises.  I am delighted to be among those booked ahead, as new ports are added to itineraries which afford travelers more time on shore in more ports.  That means more opportunities for cruise guests to have a first person experience with inspiring characters in history, which have left their legacy of homes, castles, and mysterious places to be enjoyed.

For the remainder of 2016 and through 2017, travel with CTH, and win your CTH t-shirt, suitable for wearing to dinner with pearls, when you answer CTH trivia.

Looking ahead to 2018: February 17 to March 21, 2018, Australia & New Zealand; and April 15 to May 10, 2018, Japan & transpacific crossing Tokyo to Vancouver.

Introducing readers and cruise travelers to their benefactors; the artists, architects, politicians, and inspiring people, whose legacy is the richness of history to be found in the vestiges of their lives awaiting visitors, is the aim of Cruise through History.  In each of the above cruise segments there are 5-10 stories to tell.

It is a joy to be a tiny part of a travel industry that is large and growing.  Cruise travel presents such a wonderful way to experience the world that it should not come as a surprise that most ships leave port with every stateroom filled.  2017 can be your year to join Cruise through History at sea.

Cruise through History volumes currently available through Amazon.com: Itinerary I London to Rome; Itinerary II Rome to Venice; and Itinerary VIII Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.  More story books to come in 2017.
